RIDE with a Park Ranger! • Pedal for Pollinators SATURDAY, March 28 • 10:00 A.m. - 12:00 P.M.
The spring season in San Antonio brings perfect weather, for both bikers and monarch butterflies!
Join us on Saturday, March 28th at Mission San Juan for a bike ride to the San Juan Dam, then back to Mission San Juan. Ride begins at 10 am.
Learn about pollinators and native plants at two prairie restoration stops along the way. We'll be looking for butterflies, caterpillars, bees, and other pollinators throughout the ride. The ride begins and ends at Mission San Juan. This program is free and open to the public. This bike ride will be approximately 1.5 hours long, for a total distance of 6 miles. We will make several stops along the way.
Participants must be comfortable with biking on pavement and gravel.
Bring your own bike and helmet to join the ride for free! To reserve your spot on the program, email the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Bike Program Coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, the date of the bike ride, and number of participants.
• Helmets are required. • This is a free public program. Bring your own bicycle and helmet to participate for free. • Don't have a bicycle? No problem! Reserve a San Antonio Bike Share bike for $7 by Friday, March 27. • Don't have a helmet? Rent one from Blue Star Bicycling Co.

Visitors are welcomed to bring their own bicycle and helmet. If you do not have access to a bike, San Antonio Bike Share (SABS) will provide a bicycle rental for only $7 with an advance reservation. No refunds on reserved bicycles. Reservation for a SABS bicycle must be made by Friday, March 27.
